Hi There!
I'm a Sports Photographer, UI/UX Designer, and Front End Developer.
Nice to Meet You!
My name is Yitzel Serna! I'm a Media Arts & Sciences (MAS) and Education double major at Wellesley College.
I'm currently cross-registered at MIT pursuing my Gordon Engineering Leadership Certificate.
I was recruited to Wellesley College as an NCAA Athlete and spent my first couple of years exploring the limits of
Wellesley's course offerings. I settled on Media Arts & Sciences, a major that allowed me to pursue my passion in photography
while training me to develop a skillset in basic backend languages, Front End Development, User Interaction and User Experience.
During my time at Wellesley, I've had the opportunity to work as a Sports Photographer and publish two photobooks:
Non Ministrari and Sed Ministrare. Although I've stepped away from my sport, the skills I've acquired
both on the court and in the classroom have helped me develop my leadership, time management, and organizational
skills. Armed with my knowledge and a passion for learning, I'm excited to see where the future will lead me.

Non Ministrari
Non Ministrari is my first self-published photo book. Taken over the course of my first and second year at Wellesley, the book consists
of over 100 pages of the photos showcasing the natural beauty of the Wellesley College Campus as well as my adventures into Cambridge and the
greater Boston Area.
Non Ministrari was photographed primarily on my iPhone XR and Canon Rebel. I utilized Adobe Lightroom to edit the photos
I took, and then formatted the book with Affinity Publisher. This photobook is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Sed Ministrare
Sed Ministrare is my second self-published photo book and the sequel to Non Ministrari.
Unlike Non Ministrari, this photo book includes my notes on different locations, my take on traditional photography tips,
and my breakdowns of photo editing. Sed Ministrare is about my process and a respect for the work that goes into creating something beautiful.
Sed Ministrare is now available on Amazon!
